My travel plans have been turned up side down since my wallet was stolen. I do admit that I have been a very lazy traveler and waiting for the credit cards was kind of my excuse not to move anywhere too far away from Santiago so I don't have to take a long journey back there to get my cards. Well, to be fair, it is actually a hassle to travel without a credit card. You have to be dependent on people who send you money via Western Union, you can't book accommodations or flights, except you have great and reliable friends who do that for you - which I do, hah! So I asked my lovebird Laura to book my flight to Rio for me and now I'm here. It's so unreal.
Copacabana and Ipanema beach, Santa Teresa and Lapa are one of the few places which I went to. Obviously just wandering around the city was a big part too. It's crazily hot here and most of the time I'm feeling very lazy. Anyways, here are some first impressions.
