RIO DE JANEIRO PART II

I spent wonderful days in Rio de Janeiro so far. Most of the days are filled with walking around the neighborhoods, caipirinhas and lots and lots of meat. Brazilians love meat, like tons of it. You could think that Brazil is my dream country when it comes to food then, but seriously, not even I can eat that much meat. Especially when the dish contains of meat, fries, rice, beans and some bread stuff on top. UFF.

Almost all my afternoons were reserved for the numerous beaches of Rio. After I burned myself badly in Mexico and my body was still peeling 3 weeks later, I kinda avoided the sun for a while. And now back to the beach, being a lazy fuck and reading was just perfect.

Hmm what else did I do? I hiked up the Corcovado hill which is 2000m high and on top of it there is the famous Christ statue which has been shown on TV a million times during the world cup. Hiking up that steep hill for 2,5h while it's 36° was definitely a challenge. I was just sweat from head to toe and my face was red and looked like the face of an Asian who just drank alcohol for the first time. But when I arrived at the top I felt like I have accomplished something and it felt great. (Let's face it: my biggest motivation was just hoping to burn the calories from lunch).
