VALPARAISO

During the whole time in Santiago, my emotions were mixed between accepting the fact that I will be stuck, being sad about it and having the excitement of not traveling for a while and just staying somewhere, getting to know the city better.
My ambitious plan of learning Spanish while staying there did not work out really well, but I kept myself busy with making events in the hostel, walking around, getting lost and treating myself with good food.

But it was about time for me to move on and leave Santiago after 3 weeks because I was getting restless and anxious again. So I decided to go to Valparaiso; the decision was not very difficult because every traveler goes from Santiago to Valparaiso. It's only 1,5h away, the city is at the coast and is well known for being beautiful and a cool place to hang out.

And here I am, in Valparaiso; since almost a week. It does not matter where I am to wait for my cards and actually, if you don't want to waste too much money, the best thing to do is just to stick around somewhere and save traveling costs. Plus, without a credit card, it is quite difficult or not possible to book flights or anything to anywhere.

My friends who I met in the hostel in Santiago came over for the weekend to visit and it was a lot of fun. So yes, I am here and won't be going anywhere until I know what's the deal with my cards.
