I have wanted to go for a long time because so many friends told me it is such a beautiful place. So I went. I stayed in a hostel, a female dorm with 3 other girls. This is probably the first time staying in a hostel alone for me. My expectations were high, I thought I might meet some interesting people. But neither me nor the girls in the dorm were really interested in making new traveling friends at that time. So that's that.
I did what I always do when traveling to a foreign city: I walked around on my own, I got lost and somehow I ended up discovering famous buildings and so-called Must-Sees. Portuguese turns out to be quite a weird language, at least for me it is. But the food, oh my! Oh, and the city is indeed very beautiful!
