CANCUN

My friend Anne is traveling at the moment as well and we agreed to meet up in Tulum. Before I went to Tulum to meet her, i stopped in Cancun cause I thought I will have 2 days on my own and see what Cancun has to offer. Turns out Cancun was not that great, at least that's how I felt and so after the day of walking around visiting Mercado 28 and Parque de la Palapas just to eat, I decided to go to Isla Mujeres, an island close by, for the day. And it was a great decision: beautiful beach, white sand, turquoise-seethrough water. I sat on the beach and read an entire book and finally the feeling of I-am-on-vacation approached me, quite in a shy way, but I felt it. And it was wonderful.
